Your Gmail is now a lot more secure

Your Gmail is now a lot more secure
A feature that I found out was in the making last September has finally come to fruition. You can now see information about recent and concurrent Gmail sessions for your Gmail account. What does that mean? It means now you have the power to see if anybody is currently using your Gmail, and any other recent breaches.

So, what if you remember you forgot to log out of your computer after leaving a friend's house? Easy, you can log his machine out directly from your own computer when you get home. This is a huge feature for people concerned about their privacy, and it will be responsible for many Hotmail and Yahoo mail users finally taking the plunge.

Considering the recent discussion about Google and privacy, and considering how long this feature has been in the works, it makes me wonder if they were just waiting for the right time to release it? Smart move. I wonder when they will launch Gears for Gmail now?
